I started at Painting Contractors Association as a Website Coordinator in April 2021, and now serve as a Digital Project Manager.
Initial responsibilities included managing a WordPress based website, but have now extended to designing and developing multiple websites and webpages, assisting the management and development of other digital platforms (SaaS, LMS), and a whole lot of other cool stuff. As of October 2022, I singlehandedly managed the migration and management of a new Membership Management Software (importing and handling 1000+ users), billing, personalised account-portals, and a ton of new features.
The websites I’ve managed are mostly WordPress based, with Beaver Builder as an add on. I’ve gotten the chance to create several custom pages using HTML, CSS, and PHP.
Some of the fun things I’ve worked on include: the PCA Website, PCA Overdrive, our own short URL, and Learn Worlds. I’ve even gotten a chance to be part of a regular podcast! (Apologies for that one).

Initially part of a 4 month graduate-assistantship, I started at UNC Greensboro early 2019 as a Web Developer. I truly do attribute most of my knowledge to my time here (currently doing it part-time).
In this role, I have been primarily exposed to web development on WordPress, using multiple mark-up and programming languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, Bootstrap). I learnt about Custom Posts and Custom Fields, PHP loops, making websites responsive and thoroughly accessible, and so much more. I began diving into graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch) to help with marketing, and frequently provided WordPress tutorials to faculty and staff members.
Feel free to check out some of the work I’ve done here on the HHS Website, Math Department Website, CSD Website, and more!

My first job right after my undergraduate degree was working for Panamá’s leading Newspaper company- Corporación La Prensa.
Prior this this role, I had been very invested in the whole web development, digital, and entrepreneurial spaces. For a long time. But working as a Junior Product Specialist here gave me the chance to dive way more into that passion. With minimal knowledge on, well… everything, I led the design and development of Metro Por Metro (MTXMT), a digital real estate platform—think Zillow, but for Panamá.
Learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and WordPress took a minute, but after I felt confident in those areas, I was out and about implementing new ideas, conducting interviews and sales across the country, creating marketing strategies, and a whole lot more of really fun stuff.
Feel free to take a look at what Metro Por Metro looks like now!
