Coffee! This was a fun project to work on as I’ve never worked on an e-commerce website from scratch before. The client wanted a website that not only displayed various items for sale (drink menu, food menu), but also offered a way for users to order food/drinks for in-store pick up (without any delivery or drive-through options).

MOKK@ was built on WordPress using Elementor, HTML, and CSS— without any pre-built templates. I primarily used WooCommerce to take care of the whole product listing/sale features. The website was first built on a staging site and then moved over to a live domain, and the client was handed over access to the back end, to manage all incoming orders and transactions (which, by the way, were linked to their bank account using Stripe).

By now you must be familiar with Apple Fitness+, or even Alo Moves. These are digital fitness platforms that allow you to subscribe to video content (fitness videos). Tangerine Tube was built from the same branch. This is a digital platform that allows users to purchase individual videos for sale – with the caveat that the user should not be able to download the video, simply log in to their account to view it each time. Each video was locked behind a log-in-to-view snippet and, on the back end, categorised based on memberships. Using Restrict Content Pro, each video was given a “membership level” and assigned to a user if they purchased it. I could have gone the WooCommerce route, but at the time it seemed to heavy to do something a bit simpler (though if I’m being honest, this felt like a beast of a project when I actually took it on). Users were given their own dashboard where they could view content they have paid for, transactions, and membership details. This website was built using WordPress, Elementor, and a whole lot of hope. Though this website is not currently being used by the client, you can check out Tangerine Tube.
